RoutePeek is a private, local-first route file viewer and editor.

Data Collection

RoutePeek's developer does not collect or sell personal data. The app does not require an account and does not include ads, analytics, or tracking.

Route Files

GPX, KML, and KMZ files are processed on your device. Library metadata and edited copies are stored locally, and RoutePeek does not replace your original files. Exports are shared only when you choose to do so.

Location and Apple Services

If you grant location access, RoutePeek uses it to show your position on the map. RoutePeek does not receive or store your device location.

Maps are provided by Apple Maps. When you request route weather, coordinates sampled from that route are sent directly to Apple through WeatherKit. Apple's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policies.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. RoutePeek does not receive or store your payment card information.
